Section 2  -  About Us

The Warwickshire Industrial Locomotive Preservation Trust is run by a Team of around 7 Trustees who are Elected Annually at an AGM. (Usually held in April at the Kidderminster Railway Museum)

The Trustees are all Volunteers and come from a variety of different backgrounds (mainly Engineering) but who have a common interest in Industrial Heritage and are Supporters of The Severn Valley Railway.

The Trustees mainly reside in the Midlands and meet on a number of occasions each year at various locations.

At the 2022 Joint AGM WILT & WILPG Members (present or by proxy) unanimously voted to merge and form WILPT - A Charitable Incorporated Organisation.  More details will follow shortly. The new C.I.O. was approved by the Charity Commisioners on 22nd December 2023. A New Boiler for MW2047 was placed on Order in late March 2023 which is due for delivery sometime in 2025.
